Expansion of the Portfolio with a New Swedish Licence
SEG’s portfolio has been expanded by a new licence in Sweden named Gujjávrre, following our long-term strategy of building a high-quality project portfolio in promising Nordic regions.
This newly released area, covering approximately 67 km², attracted our attention primarily due to its geological potential. In addition to the occurrence of high-purity quartz, the area of interest also contains recorded indications of gold, copper, and silver mineralization, making the locality an exceptionally interesting target for further expert evaluation.
Another significant positive factor is the licence’s location near the Norwegian border and its good logistical connection to the Dragu area, where Kvarts Corp. operates a processing plant. This circumstance may represent a practical advantage for the future development of the project.
Available archival geological and exploration materials relating to the area of interest indicate the presence of several types of mineralization features and indications. In addition to quartz vein structures with potential for use as an industrial mineral raw material, anomalous signs of sulphide mineralization and occurrences associated with Pb, Zn, Cu, As, Au, and Ag have also been identified in the area.
This combination of geological characteristics demonstrates the broader exploration potential of the area and provides a suitable basis for further systematic exploration assessment.
We therefore view the acquisition of the licence not only as another step in the geographical expansion of our portfolio, but also as confirmation of our interest in projects that may offer multi-layered potential for future expert work.
In the coming period, we will focus primarily on detailed work with the available materials, their professional interpretation, and the preparation of a proposal for further field activities, taking into account the capacities of our experts as well as the connection to other planned work in Norway and Finland.
