Second Visit of SEG a.s. to Norway
The visit, conducted from December 11 to December 14, 2024, focused on key meetings with municipal representatives and landowners and tenants associated with the Ovaldsnuten B and Gudmedalen licenses. All discussions were attended by representatives of SEG a.s. (J. Novák – CEO, E. Hrdinková) and representatives of the subsidiary Greenhills as (D. Egge – CEO, C-F Joys).
Meeting with Ullensvang Municipality
Discussions with the representatives of Ullensvang Municipality centered on the potential use of the anatase deposit, located within the Ovaldsnuten B license area. Municipal representatives expressed a willingness to cooperate and pledged support for negotiations with higher-level state officials and for obtaining the necessary permits. This positive response opens doors for further project development and underscores the strategic importance of regional collaboration.
Meeting in Aurland
In Aurland, the SEG a.s. team participated in a meeting with landowners and tenants associated with the Gudmedalen license. The key point of discussion was obtaining unanimous consent for further use of the license. During the long opened discussion, arguments from all parties were openly discussed. The outcome of the meeting concluded that the Gudmedalen license could not be used for any further activities leading to mining. This decision provided clear direction for future planning.
Strengthening Reputation
Both meetings were conducted in a friendly atmosphere and contributed to strengthening the good reputation of SEG a.s., and potentially Greenhills as, among local partners. The ability to listen and seek common solutions was appreciated by all parties involved, creating a solid foundation for future collaboration.
