Progress of Norwegian projects

20.11.2023 During the summer months of 2023, successful fieldwork was carried out on five licenses in Norway.The exploration itself was especially focused on titanium, tungsten and gold deposits.Laboratory analyses and data evaluation are now underway.We can already assess 2023 as a very successful season.The results will be published on the new Segas website which is currently under development.

Greenland Survey

30.08.2022 Subarctic Exploration Group a.s. staff is presently completing a reconnaissance survey on our license Salliarsuaq located in eastern Greenland. Activities are concentrated in an area that was identified through remote-sensing interpretation and which shows large quartz structures on the surface. Norway Survey

21.08.2022 Subarctic Exploration Group a.s. staff is presently conducting a geological survey on our license Steinkrossen 1 located in central Norway. Steinkrossen area is rich in titanium-bearing rocks as well as has abundant garnet-bearing deposits as a possible source of industrial-grade abrasives. The team is concentrating on areas marked out by previous gravimetric surveys. Large number of samples were are being collected.

Finland Survey Completed

01.08.2022 A survey team working for the Subarctic Exploration Group a.s. just returned from a geological survey on our license Kuskoiva located north/eastern Finland. This area is well known for gold-bearing deposits and is often being explored by junior mining companies. Close to 200 rock samples were collected and will shortly be subject to laboratory and geophysical analysis. Comprehensive report is expected in the fall.

Sweden Survey Completed

19.07.2022 Geologists working for the Subarctic Exploration Group a.s. just returned from a successful survey on our new license Van Nr. 3 in central Sweden. Many samples were collected on the prospect with the intention of discovering a new commercial ore deposit. Historically mining in this area concentrated on gold, silver, zinc and lead. Laboratory and geophysical analysis results will be available this fall.

Exploration – Scandinavia

22.5.2022 Preparations for the summer field season of 2022 are in full swing. Teams of SEG geologists will be active in Norway, Sweden and Finland.  Work plans were approved by the relevant authorities and all our licenses are fully accessible.  Exploration activities will focus on the following commodities: gold, titanium, zinc, rare earth elements and more.

Finland News

8.3.2022 Subarctic Exploration Group a.s. was recently awarded reservation rights for a new license Kuskoiva in the north-eastern gold (Au) province of Finland. We are currently in the process of preparing a geological and sampling campaign in 2022, concentrating on a major magnetic anomaly in the western part of the license.

Sweden News

11.11.2021 In November 2021, the Subarctic Exploration Group a.s. was awarded a new license Van Nr 3 in central Sweden. It has excellent access by road and has historically shown interesting values in gold, silver, zinc and lead. We intend to implement a first geological survey and sampling campaign in 2022.
